The support provided by effective mentorship and coaching will help professionalise the ECD sector, and ensure that ECCE teachers learn good practice. The National ECD CoP held on 10 March 2020 shared mentorship and coaching models, and engaged members in discussion of innovations, challenges and practical interventions in mentorship and coaching. The CoP also included important sector updates about the Function Shift and the minimum wage discussions.
