The Zero Draft Quality Assurance Support System (QASS) – a model that outlines a potential quality assurance process that can be implemented alongside ECD programme registration was presented by Ilifa Labantwana. According to CoP members, the QASS could be a significant lever in monitoring, maintaining and supporting continuous quality improvement in early learning which is a major challenge currently in the sector. GROW Educare showcased their ‘5 steps to 5 star’ strategy that supports ECD programmes to provide 5 star learning in all types of communities in South Africa.
