Patricia Maphungela, responsible for General Education and Training. (GET) at Ehlanzeni District gave an update on the function shift as it pertains to the province of Mpumalanga. She focused on ECD 0-4 centres who facilitate play based learning in line with the national curriculum framework, ECD Grade R in public schools as well as those in funded Grade R community centres.
