Haroon Mahomed, Director for Continuing Professional Development in the Department of Basic Education, updated the CoP on the current position of the Integrated Strategic Planning Framework for Teacher Education and Development in South Africa 2011-2025 (ISPFTED), some of the challenges to its implementation, and the steps the DBE has considered taking it forward.
