Read the meeting highlights to the Learner Selection action group CoP meeting held in November 2012. This meeting was led by Ms Sibongile Khumalo, Academic Director at the Student Sponsorship Programme (SSP). Through SSP’s work since 2000, 633 high school scholarships worth over R100 mln were awarded. A 100% Matric pass rate has been recorded each year since 2005 while 91% of these successful SSPs scholars manage to start tertiary studies immediately after school.
