Hassiena Marriott, a teacher at Dominican Convent describes the School Peer Review process at a South African Extraordinary Schools Coalition National Meeting on 17 March 2015, hosted by the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

The School Peer Review, developed by the Coalition, enables school leaders and their staff to observe each other’s schools in action. These are a good mechanism for schools to establish a process of self-reflection and continuous learning as well as to participate in and support each other’s school improvement initiatives in a non-judgemental and collaborative way.
