South African learners face numerous challenges, and therefore require a diverse range of support interventions. BRIDGE facilitates learner support by helping map various forms of provision and promoting collaboration between providers.

BRIDGE has a particular focus on learner support in relation to Maths and Science. Improving the quality of maths and science education in South Africa is a high priority for government, for the economy and for the country as a whole. BRIDGE is especially interested in understanding key learnings from successful projects and interventions in these areas, so that these can be shared to promote collaboration to improve Maths and Science learning outcomes.
